I've just tried this way and... that works :-)
I think the position towards the speakers was bad in my previous tests ; thanks for the trick.

Regards.

hum... hard to tell you a value.
from my side the speakers were set louder than usual way : the sound must be clear to be "accepted" by CS100.

Place back cover of the unit towards the speakers.
Dear, I put my back cover unit towards the speakers,
but nothing happens. Not even after the tenth time. OK doens't appear on my CS100. What do I have to do?

PS: Why does polar introduces anno 2012 an update tool via sound. Why not entering this data in the CS100 via a user interface, like in any userfriendly bike tool???

Thanks for your answer Polar.
PS: The user manual is really to short :-(

the cs100 quit the data transfer whit peep.
now put the 3 Button at the cs 100 by the same time. (reset the unit) all digits in the display are on. put the left Button.
Updating the Time settings.
have fun
m.
IMPORTANT! The CS100 unit needs to be in the correct window/mode to receive the uplink-data.
Navigate to the main SETTINGS window on the CS100.
Start the transfer from the uplink tool. Now the text changes from SETTINGS to UPLINK.
After the transfer is complete CS100 should show OK. If it displays FAILED, try again.

Press and hold all the three buttons at the same time until display fills up with digits. Press Start and enter watch settings. Reset does not delete any file from the memory. Only after resetting the unit the reset Odometer value is shown in Season's Totals.

This is ok
Thanks
