Polar Bluetooth chest belt (for Nokia)?
Hello evereyone,

I have recently noticed on the 'Nokia Sports Tracker' website, that there exists a Nokia N79 & Polar (heart rate monitor) package (http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/main/n79_polar.do). The Polar chest belt transmits the data by Bluetooth to the Nokia N79, and all the data of the workout (heart rate, speed, distance...) is stored in the 'Sports Tracker' utility. Sounds great!

Does anybody know if this package is already available in shops? And, because I already own a Nokia 6110 Navigator (with GPS and Bluetooth), I'd like to know if the Polar chest belt is (or will be) sold seperately. Thanks in advance!

If someone has got more news please write!

I'm also interested about buying the bluetooth wearlink, but not the Nokia N79 (because I'm waiting the Nokia N97 to be published to markets).
So when is it possible to by the bluetooth wearling by itself? Or is ever??

I hope standalone comes soon. Atleast N97-compatible version of SportsTracker has support for it. I hope it is compatible with any bluetooth phone (or computer). Some WIND gadget similar to WindLink that allows acces to phone from all WIND devices would be nice too. (still waiting..)

Currently, I'm using another bluetooth heartrate transmitter,
this is Zephyr HxM
and I'm looking on the polar one.

maybe someone knows - are there following features (of my Zephyr) in Polar BT HRM:
1. my HxM has integrated speed/cadence/distance sensor into HR transmitter, it's very useful - I don't need additional shoe sensor.
2. HxM has rechargable battery with standard USB dockstation.
3. It supports RR

if someone has polar BT HRM, could you match it with my one described above?

Rgds,
Ernst

Hi,
AXN500 uses 5 KHz transmission and will not be compatible with bluetooth.
